Kate’s 40th birthday party at 202 east, NYC on 6/4/11

BOK-Music’s Up-Lighting and 202 east’s design made a spectacular combination! Birthday girl Kate gave DJs Lotte and Brendan a great list of 80’s New Wave hits to mix. Great food and staff from Charlotte’s Catering made for a superb celebration!

Thank you for making the party so fun Brendan… you managed the transition from cocktails to dancing brilliantly… and even managed to make Mister Travolta look good… the up-lighting really added great ambiance… I was with my parents last night at dinner at the Field Club in Greenwich… Martina was asking us about the birthday party and I said there was a DJ who didn’t make my parents cringe (at least until they left the party)… she also said you were wonderful at their events…

Scott’s holiday party filled the entire restaurant at Crabtree’s Kittle House. BOK’s Up-Lighting transformed the restaurant and his guests, completely!

Maryam & Michael’s Persian/Irish Wedding at The Newark Club on 11/20/10

This Persian wedding at the Newark Club was such a blast, especially when the belly dancer appeared out of nowhere! Maryam shared some awesome Persian and Arabic music with DJ Brendan to add to our ever expanding collection of Middle Eastern music.

The night before the wedding: “I am already anticipating wonderful music.  Karen and Frank are tough critics when it comes to these types of things – so you must be fabulous.  I am also more than thrilled that you and your partner are handling everything…you are a one stop shop for me between the ceremony, live music for the cocktail hour, and the reception.  It is perfect and exactly how I wanted it, so Thank you, Thank you and Thank you.  I feel like I know you already but I guess won’t meet you until after the ceremony…unless you stop by the bridal suite right before the ceremony!!

Brittany’s Sweet 16 Party – Ceola Manor – 6/18/2010

Everything was fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to DJ my party and everybody there loved you, especially me! You were so fantastic and if I hear of anybody who needs some good music for their party, I will be sure to mention your name. I am so glad that I got to work with you for the party and everything was great. Thank You so so so much and I hope you have a good rest of your summer.

Hello Brendan!

Brittany had a blast, and raved about your song selection. The kids were talking about it for weeks! I know you followed her list, but you delivered it perfectly. She said that the kids danced the most at her party than any other Sweet 16 she has been too! Which all of this doesn’t surprise me. You have been amazing from day one that I have known you and sing your high praises from whatever roof top I am on.

You are the best and superceded all of Britt’s expectations for her party….me, I already knew you rock!
