Disc Jockeys fall into two categories:

Low-Key DJ - Minimal
microphone usage limited to announcements and introductions. Disco
lights only if requested, no dance demonstrations, usually one DJ with
assistant. Requests are encouraged. Not sure about lights? See below for a
video to help you decide.

Interactive DJ -
Interactive MC, props, dancers and dance demonstrations. From
3 entertainers and up. BOK Music does NOT book this kind of DJ and would be
happy to refer you to one.

Most of our customers choose us
because of our "low-key" and friendly style combined with our
huge selection of tunes and state of the art equipment like the Mackie-SRM450
Bi-amped active speakers with matching SRS 1500 subwoofer
and Visiosonic PCDJ-FX professional DJ software.

The range of music remains the
same in both categories. Remember, "low-key" does not mean low-energy
dancing!

Combine a DJ with musicians
for a variety of music entertainment.

Most DJs are hired for
a 4 hour minimum and 5 hour minimum on Saturday nights unless booked along
with musicians.

Our rates are reasonable. Just
ask. We offer discounts for last minute
bookings when we are available.

Our Equipment: We
play MP3 files (fully licensed)
at your event! Bring your own CDs, CDRs, CDRWs or email us your selections.
Dell and HP high end laptops with professional sound cards run the leading professional
DJ software Visiosonic PCDJ-FX. Upload our songlist, build your songlist and we can play
right off it! Email your MP3s or mail a CDR of your own songs. We are very excited about this new technology!
Imagine how quickly we can set up your play list or take requests. The quality
of the sound is as good as CDs! As a backup we use 2 laptops and backup CDs as a
double backup.  Musicians
and DJs are all impressed with the
Mackie-SRM450
bi-amped active speakers and the Mackie-SRS1500
Active Subwoofer. They sound amazing, look great and don't take up much
space. We also use professional Numark mixers, Denon CD players
and Shure wireless microphones.
