Our
jazz combos include many combinations of piano, bass, saxophone/flute, guitar,
trumpet, and drums.
- The core instrument of our jazz combos is either the piano or the guitar.
- The melody instruments to add are the sax (usually doubling on flute
and/or clarinet) or trumpet. The amount you add is up to you and
your budget
- Typical duos: Piano & sax/flute. Piano & bass. Guitar &
sax/flute. Guitar & bass.
- Typical trios: Piano, sax/flute & bass. Guitar, Sax/flute & bass.
- Bass and drums are essential for danceable music including swing, fox
trot, cha cha cha, rumba, bossa nova, etc.
- Hybrid classical and Jazz trio: Piano or guitar, sax/flute and violin.
Perfect for wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. Add bass and even
drums for a completely versatile combo.
- Remember, you can alternate jazz combos with a DJ for a complete
entertainment package.
